Somehow, Chris Pine's character Steve Trevor is coming to a theater near you in the Wonder Woman sequel.

And from the looks of Pine's Members Only jacket and the big hairdos of the people around him, the sequel is clearly set in the '80s. Jenkins shared a picture of Pine decked out in a brown tracksuit, reports Access.

Wonder Woman 2 is officially titled Wonder Woman 1984, according to social media posts by director Patty Jenkins and star Gal Gadot.

Jenkins has previously said of the sequel: "The greatest thing about making this [the first] movie was the fact that you're really building to the Wonder Woman that we all love, but not until the end of the movie".

Join guest host and third alternate Cheetah Amy Vorpahl as she offers up a few theories about how Steve Trevor could make his return. This is true in the first Wonder Woman film, which uses its First World War setting as a way to challenge contemporary American isolationism.

The sequel is being filmed and some photos have been released, revealing one major detail. Did Wonder Woman tap into some of her Greek goddess genetics (let's not forget she's the daughter of Zeus) and use some unknown power to alter reality?

Gal Gadot also tweeted out an image from "Wonder Woman 1984" featuring Diana Prince standing at the window of a store displaying colour TVs (see above). In the second set photo, Wonder Woman is seen looking at several television screens, an invention that wasn't around during the time period of the first film.

Patty Jenkins poses at the premiere of "Wonder Woman" in Los Angeles, May 25, 2017. Is this some kind of resurrected Steve, or a younger relative of Steve Trevor, also named Steve Trevor, or some third option? Be sure to tell us all of your thoughts in the comments down below!
