Entertainment website TMZ, which first reported Brown's arrest on Thursday, said Palm Beach County police were waiting to take him into custody immediately after his concert at the Coral Sky Ampitheatre in West Palm Beach.

Chris Brown went from the stage of the Coral Sky Amphitheatre in West Palm beach straight to a waiting cop auto. TMZ reports as soon as he exited the stage he was arrested due to a warrant in a nearby county.

The warrant alleges Brown battered Bennie Vines Jr., who was hired by a club to take photos during an event hosted by Brown.

Chris has been on the road since mid-June and he has a show scheduled for Friday night in Tampa.

Brown has a history of arrests. The warrant for his arrest was in connection to an incident at a Tampa night club a year ago in which Brown is accused of attacking a photographer. "Brown was released on $2,000 bond", Entertainment Tonight's Brendon Geoffrion tweeted.

Brown was accused of domestic violence in 2009 involving his then-girlfriend Rihanna.

It looks like Chris Brown will be spending the night in jail in Florida.

Brown is in the midst of a nationwide tour dubbed "Heartbreak on a Full Moon". Brown ended his probation for that case in 2015.

The 29-year-old was booked and released shortly thereafter when he posted bail.

In 2013, Brown was charged with misdemeanor assault after allegedly striking a man outside a Washington, D.C., hotel.
