It seems as though a chat with new boss Maurizio Sarri is imperative for Chelsea's first-choice keeper but the same can't be said for Hazard who seems set on a summer switch to the Bernabeu.

New Blues head coach Sarri faces a battle to keep hold of his star players after replacing Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge.

"We are a top club, we want to be a top team, we want to win things, and for that you need your best players".

"Certainly after this World Cup". Subscribe to our SMS sports service by texting "SPORTS" to 22840.

Sarri was in charge of Napoli while Mancini was at Inter Milan.

Sarri appears more diplomatic about recruiting and retaining players.

"This is what any manager wants to do, this is what any club wants to do".

"I think that I am one of few managers who is bored by transfer market".

"At the end of the transfers (window) I will understand which type of game is the most suitable. Otherwise they're at a very high level", he said.

"A telephone call without looking them in the eyes would not give me any certainty".

Eden Hazard 'reaches verbal agreement' to join European giants

Chelsea have revealed their third kit for the 2018/19 season and they have included Eden Hazard, N'Golo Kante and Willian in their poster, even with all three players' futures uncertain.

Courtois is entering the final 12 months of his Chelsea deal after failing to come to an agreement with the club over a contract extension.

"I know it will be very hard and here we have the strongest coaches in the world and the strongest players in the world".

"The club have asked me to build a season where we have to be competitive in all competitions and in order to do that we must get to March and April in all competitions".

"I have not asked anything of anyone".

The Blaugrana have reportedly been monitoring Chelsea winger Willian, with rumours suggesting the 29-year-old is interested in joining the club.

The Blues wore yellow throughout the 1960s and 70s, but have not had a yellow kit since the 2014-15 season, when they won the Premier League title.

Sarri is set to axe Tiemoue Bakayoko, the Daily Star say.

As FA Cup winners they play champions Manchester City in the Community Shield before their first Premier League match against Huddersfield Town on August 11.
