Jose Mourinho has warned Anthony Martial that "you can't always get what you want in life" amid the speculation about the striker's Manchester United future. United, it was claimed, were readying a bid for the Leicester defender.

Mourinho knows it is impossible to keep Martial, given the 22-year-old's determination to leave this summer, and has impressed this upon United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward. I would love to arrive in LA, to train in LA and play all my five matches in LA, and then don't travel, don't change hotel and then go back to Manchester.

Betway now has odds of 11/10 that Maguire will be moving to Old Trafford, having previously been 10/1 a few days ago.

Jose Mourinho's search for a solution to Manchester United's centre-back problems has reportedly led him to believe Harry Maguire could be the answer.

Maguire continued to forge a reputation as one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League last season and he carried that form in to the World Cup as he was one of England's star performers en route to their semi-final appearance in Russian Federation.

And for the last couple of weeks, the Maguire-to-Old-Trafford rumour has been bubbling away nicely without any official word from anyone. until now.

The report further added that the Foxes are already plotting to increase Maguire's wages to around £75,000 with a move to pin him down for another campaign in the English topflight as they are tired he is likely to move elsewhere.

The former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss is not happy with his current crop of defenders, and is looking to sell either Marcos Rojo, Eric Bailly, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones or Victor Lindelof to make room for a new general.
