According to the officials, Trump seeks updates on the progress of the negotiations with Pyongyang daily and besides the lack of progress on the talks, he is also upset with the media coverage of the joint statement that he had signed with Kim in Singapore. "Japan is happy, all of Asia is happy", Trump said on Twitter. You're being tough on China, and you should be, but China is pulling North Korea back.

On Twitter, 38 North's founder, Joel Wit, said the images suggested that North Korea may be willing to "give up its space launch program".

The activity at the Sohae Satellite Launching Station in Tongchang-ri, northwestern North Korea, would, if confirmed, mark a first step toward fulfilling a promise North Korean leader Kim Jong Un made to U.S. President Donald Trump during their summit last month.

According to the official findings of a South Korean government probe into the disappearance of Korean Air Flight 858 in 1987, Kim and another North Korean agent planted time bombs on the plane, which exploded near Myanmar, killing all of the 115 people on board.

Mr Trump appeared to make a diplomatic breakthrough when he met communist despot Kim for historic talks in Singapore last month.

On Wednesday, Trump said he secured a commitment from Russian Federation to "help" with North Korea. We have - we're just going through the process.

Pyongyang also committed to returning the remains of U.S. soldiers killed during the Korean War.

In response to the North Korean coverage, the South Korean Ministry of Unification (MOU) on Monday repeatedly insisted the government aims to declare the end to the war this year, as agreed in the Panmunjom Declaration.

Trump and Kim also agreed to the "building of a lasting and robust peace regime on the Korean Peninsula", including the providing of "security guarantees" to North Korea.
