Pop star Demi Lovato hospitalised for drug overdose

A representative for Demi Lovato said that she is awake and recovering with her family after the pop singer was reportedly hospitalized Tuesday for a drug overdose.

Lovato's rep has told several outlets including FOX News that she is now with family and in stable condition.

In a statement issued Tuesday evening, Demi's rep told HollywoodLife.com: "Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support".
