HUAWEI nova 3's camera has a set focal length of 35mm for selfies providing the best-in-technology to capture a stunning AI selfie.

The issue came to light because one of the models in the advertisement actually shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the Nova 3 ad shoot, which clearly shows the male model pretending to hold a smartphone in the classic selfie pose.

In response to the controversy, Huawei has told CNET that there is a disclaimer at the end of the video which says that the images and content shown are "for reference only".

Chinese smartphone maker Huawei - one of the biggest smartphone brands in the world - has been grilled online for trying to pass off DSLR photography as if it was taken by the front-facing camera on its new Nova 3 smartphone.

Tech blogs said that while Huawei's ads never claimed that the photos were indeed taken by their new phone, "it is implied by the sequence of events and by the fact that the specific photo in question was used to promote a feature present in the smartphone".

Now, before you believe the Huawei videos that demonstrate fotosmoralo smartphones, the company should think good and to remember this very unpleasant situation.

With dual front 24MP+2MP camera, the latest AI enabled smartphone offers stunning AI selfies. However, an observant user on Reddit posted on Sunday that the photos promoted in the commercial were likely faked.

Well, later it turned out that the picture was taken from a DSLR.

However, as it turned out (pointed out by a Reddit user) the photos were actually taken from a DSLR camera that is used by professionals.

Huawei caught faking smartphone camera in the Nova 3 ad. Once it had cropped bezels from the P8 smartphone renders which was done on Photoshop, as revealed by IANS.

However, unlike Huawei, Samsung admitted the mistake. However, as you can see from the BTS shot, there isn't a Nova 3 taking that picture at all. We recognize though that we should have been clearer with the captions for this image. The Nova 3 also comes with dual VoLTE support.

Huawei Nova 3 will be available in two colours - Iris Purple and Black targeting the young consumers.
