Google hosted its last Pixel events on October 4th in San Francisco, and the first Pixel unveiling was also on October 4th two years ago.

Official event dedicated to the release of the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, will take place on 9 October. Well, that's just five days of delay from the previously expected launch date. But Google's security teams are nearly certainly investigating how someone managed to get a hold of (and then offload) so many Pixel 3 XL devices two months before the launch.

Looks like this year's Pixels will come bundled with earphones. The Pixel 3 XL has leaked once again, this time in a high-quality unboxing video that has been posted to YouTube.

What is the release date for the new Google Pixel phones?

According to Hot Hardware, the video originates from Russian Federation and shows a device that appears to be the Pixel 3 XL ahead of its expected fall launch date.

Google had yet to respond to IT Pro's request for comment at the time of publication. As far as cameras are concerned, the device might feature a 16MP primary camera and an 8MP front-facing selfie camera. Powering the Pixel 3 XL is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with 4GB Ram and 64GB of internal storage although this will probably one of the options only. The company is going to add a couple of software based features to the front camera of the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL. So the Google Pixel phones are launched by late October, they will be launched after a month of the Apple iPhone 2018 launch.

Whatever the case, the Google Pixel 3 is still highly anticipated by consumers, especially those that are fans of the flagship.
