Bryant, 29, began to a follower who asked him to return, as the Cowboys fell to the Panthers, 16-8.

While he took several shots at his former team, Bryant did say he wouldn't be doing so on a weekly basis.

Bryant was released in April after eight seasons with the team and remains unsigned.

"I rather go somewhere I can show case my skills for real. if I line up next to Gronk [wide receiver Chris] Hogan [Julian] Edelman I'm for sure getting a 1 on 1 match up plus I won't be getting criticized controlled for expressing my love for the game".

"It's kind of cool calling out all of the signals and knowing which route players are about run", he wrote.

When a fan tweeted that the Cowboys would have won Sunday if they had Bryant and kicker Dan Bailey, whose replacement, Brett Maher, missed a 47-yarder, Bryant weighed in again. The Patriots, on the other hand, are a team which apparently appeals greatly to Bryant. After running back Ezekiel Elliot scored with 10 minutes remaining to cut the lead, the Panthers were in need of another stop to seal it and got it when defensive end Mario Addison crunched quarterback Dak Prescott, forcing a fumble that Captain Munnerlyn recovered to allow Carolina to run out the clock. But it's at least now known that when it comes to choosing a preferred landing spot to actually play this season, New England ranks high on Bryant's list.
