England bounced back from three consecutive defeats for the first time in 30 years as a much-changed side edged past Switzerland for a 1-0 friendly win in Leicester thanks to Marcus Rashford's victor.

"Everyone voiced their opinion and I think we did a lot better in the second half".

"Before I got in there the players were trying to sort things out", he explained.

Southgate, meanwhile, said of the row between the players at half-time: 'We expect that, we encourage it.

Kane is among the top strikers in the world, Rashford has plenty of potential but features mainly as a substitute for Manchester United, while Welbeck has a strong global record but plays a bit-part at Arsenal. We kept the ball better after half-time also.
