According to Apple's own product sitemap, the new products will be called the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR.

It's been very easy to predict what Apple's new iPhone event announcements will contain in recent years simply because the leaks have been so accurate. The device has been rumoured to be a slightly "cheaper" alternative to the iPhone Xs and its expected £1,000 price tag.

The new iPhones, which go on sale this month and next, mean price reductions on older models.

The UK price is expected to be in line with the dollar price as Apple has typically retailed its phones for the exact same amount in sterling as it has in dollars.

Apple could unveil as many as three new iPhone handsets this week as the technology giant looks to expand the range of smartphones it offers.

The actual products weren't confirmed in the list of items set to appear on Apple's website, but the three names were used when referring to AppleCare support and phone cases.

The new top model, called iPhone XS Max, has a 16.5-centimetre screen with a "super retina" edge-to-edge OLED display with richer colours.

Another model, iPhone Xs, for $999, comes with a 5.8-inch screen, faster processor and better cameras. While similar in size to the iPhone 8 Plus, the Xs Max will employ a steel chassis opposed to aluminum.

Shortly before this video was shared, a sketchy leak from Chinese social media site Weibo began making the rounds, purportedly showing off the SIM trays of several (if not all) of the possible iPhone Xr / Xc color options, including gold, red, black, silver, and blue-gray. Kuo said the iPhone Xs will start at $800 and the iPhone Xs Max will start at $900, wile the third model is expected to ship in September and start at $600.

On the camera, it features a single 12-mgapixel rear camera. It is waterproof, boasts the largest iPhone display ever and is "the most advance iPhone we've ever created", Apple chief executive Tim Cook said.

The AirPower charger was announced a year ago with the promise of being able to wirelessly charge an iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPod wireless headphones all at once.

The new watches are expected to feature the most drastic redesign since they were launched in 2014, including larger screens that span the edges of the face, allowing for more information to be displayed. The product experienced development challenges, but is now planned to launch as early as September.
