Audiences expect a huge performance on football's biggest night, and Maroon 5 know how to put on a great live show.

The NFL released a statement regarding the halftime show, but did not say whether or not Maroon 5 will be the headlining act, which has only been confirmed by sources who spoke to Verity. Along with "Moves Like Jagger", they have also penned "Love Somebody", "Sugar", "Payphone" and "Animals".

So, of course, fans were not particularly pleased with the Maroon 5 report.

Super Bowl LIII kicks off on February 3, 2019. And the Super Bowl halftime show is designed for collaborating. The music of Maroon 5 appeals to a diverse audience, whether it's young or old, whether it's people who like pop-rock or people who have come to them through their more rap/hip-hop sounding singles. Well, the rockers have found some chart success thanks to their collaboration with Cardi B, so they could perform "Girls Like You" with Ms. Almanzar.

Justin Timberlake performed at Super Bowl 52 in Minneapolis, with Lady Gaga taking the stage at Super Bowl 51 in Houston and a medley of musicians performing at Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, California, including Coldplay, Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Mark Ronson and Gustavo Dudamel. Props to them for making it big and pumping out hit after hit.
