Amazon launches several hi-fi products, new Echo Dot, Plus and Show

The Echo Input is a brand new device that simply adds Alexa to any speaker you may own. The new Echo Show is priced at the same $229.99 as the previous model. "And, all of that happens in less than thirty seconds", according to Amazon. Unlike the regular model, however, this new Echo Plus offers a much more powerful base and should offer a clearer sound output, although this will remain to be seen.

Further, FCC has tested the device's connectivity features like WiFi and Home Hub's Bluetooth connectivity.

Leaked photos purportedly showing Google Home Hub, are now making their way around the internet, adding fuel to the idea that the company may release its first voice-activated screen device at its upcoming hardware product event on October 9.

The Amazon Smart Plug is the first Wi-Fi smart plug to use Wi-Fi simple setup, making it easier to start - and expand - your smart home with connected devices. Moreover, AmazonBasics Microwave will be the first gadget to use Amazon's Alexa Connect Kit to make it a smart device. On the device's sides under fabric wrapping, dual 2-inch Neodymium drivers and Dolby processing belt out tunes or streamed content.

Amazon is taking pre-orders for the new Echo Dot, Echo Plus, and Echo Show today and expects to start shipping these devices on October 11. It features a 100W, six-inch downward firing woofer that'll introduce a new level of depth to your Echo sound system.

You can connect Echo Sub to compatible Echo devices to create a 1.1 or 2.1 pairing for stereo sound.

If you have a Google Home, you'll already be aware of the talents Google Assistant has up its virtual sleeves. It features a four-microphone array so you can "talk to Alexa from across the room", Amazon said. It's coming later this year for $34.99.

Amazon has revealed its first Alexa product for the vehicle, with the Echo Auto set to add the voice assistant to your dashboard.

Alexa changes that. The AmazonBasics Microwave includes dozens of quick-cook voice presets, so you can cook just by asking Alexa. Want a wall clock ($30) to really tells you when you're running out of time?
