People Have Signed Sworn Declarations Corroborating Christine Blasey Ford's Claims of Assault

"I have a firm recollection of seeing boys lined up outside rooms at many of these parties waiting for their "turn" with a girl inside the room", she said in the statement. We know some evidence already: Ford passed a lie detector test on her claims about Kavanaugh.

Swetnick also has several cases filed against her. "It will be interesting to hear what she has to say".

The affidavit said she has clearances to work with multiple federal agencies, including the Treasury Department.

But at the time, Russell Ford's statement says, she provided no details. Kavanaugh rejected the latest claim Wednesday as "ridiculous and from the Twilight Zone".

Attorney Avenatti tweeted a sworn testimony from the third accuser Swetnick.

Avenatti, the lawyer who represents adult film actress Stormy Daniels, is exploring a bid for the Democratic presidential nomination and spoken out against Trump and his policies, making frequent appearances on cable television.

"I am innocent of this charge", Kavanaugh says.

Trump's continued his assault in a news conference Wednesday afternoon in NY, saying Avenatti had a "bad reputation" and was a "con artist".

"The longer this nomination sits out there the more you're going to get reckless allegations that have no basis in fact", he said.

Hoping the hearing will yield no new surprises, the Judiciary Committee scheduled its own vote on Kavanaugh for Friday, and Republican leaders laid plans that could keep the full Senate in session over the weekend and produce a final showdown roll call soon after - close to the October 1 start of the high court's new term.

On the other side, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of NY said Kavanaugh should withdraw his nomination.

One thing was clear: There's a lot riding on Thursday's Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

"Senate Democrats and their allies are trying to destroy a man's personal and professional life on the basis of decades-old allegations that are unsubstantiated and uncorroborated", McConnell said on the Senate floor.

Each senator on the 21-member panel will be allowed five minutes to ask questions, said committee spokesman Taylor Foy.

Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, said she planned to study Swetnick's declaration.

Introduced by John Heilemann - who caught up with Swetnick for his Showtime program The Circus - the short video segment gave America it's the first glimpse at Ms. Swetnick, who is the first Kavanaugh accuser to speak on camera. Many also pointed to a second woman, Deborah Ramirez, who came forward Sunday with similar accusations but has not yet been given the opportunity to testify before the committee.

Should Kavanaugh receive the necessary support to move forward as the nominee, the full Senate will assemble on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at which point a vote will be held to determine whether Kavanaugh will be the United States' newest Supreme Court Justice. Ford alleged that Kavanaugh held her down and tried to remove her clothes while they were both in high school.

She reportedly grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland and graduated from Gaithersburg High School in 1980.

Kavanaugh also denied that accusation.

This makes her the third woman to do so and comes just ahead of Thursday's Senate hearing. She was raised in CT as a self-described "devout Catholic" and lives in Boulder, Colorado.

"I strongly believe Judge Kavanaugh should withdraw from consideration", Schumer (D-N.Y.) said in a statement. Ford, the first woman to accuse Kavanaugh of assault, alleged that Judge was present for that incident.

She does not say Kavanaugh participated in the alleged rape or what, if any, role he played, nor does she say where the alleged episode took place. "This conduct included the fondling and grabbing of girls without their consent".
