For the sixth consecutive year, the Los Angeles Dodgers are going to take part in October baseball, extending the team's MLB-leading streak.

Cubs and Brewers to play for division title at Wrigley Field on Monday at 12:05 p.m.

The Dodgers have won 12 of 19 contests against Colorado this season. The last NL player to win the Triple Crown was Joe Medwick in 1937 for the Cardinals. Nolan Arenado pops it up and Trevor Story flies out.

The other four other divisions were wrapped up long before Sunday's final day of the regular season, with the Red Sox (East), Indians (Central) and Astros (West) claiming American League division titles and the Braves winning the National League East.

"It's a game where obviously it's not do-or-die, but I think that it's a must-win game", Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said after a 15-0 rout in San Francisco.

A one-game playoff in 1980 was no better for the Dodgers, who were beaten 7-1 by Houston for the NL West championship. The Rockies were similarly impressive, defeating the Washington Nationals 12-0 at Coors Field.

The last time two National League teams played a game to determine a division victor was in 2009, when the Rockies defeated the Padres, 9-8, in 13 innings at Coors Field. The Nationals scratched ace Max Scherzer in a game with no meaning for them and started rookie Erick Fedde.

The Cubs put themselves in this position with a 10-5 win at home over St. Louis. Jose Quintana is likely to start for the Cubs, and Jhoulys Chacin is in line for the Brewers.

Milwaukee held a 4-0 lead against visiting Detroit in the seventh on Jesus Aguilar's home run and RBI single.

The Dodgers are about to play another end-of-season tiebreaker.
