"That's very risky for our country", Trump said.

Trump has shown much more empathy for Kavanaugh than Ford, saying the culture of the moment in America is a "scary situation where you're guilty until proven innocent". Depending on how Republicans perform on November 6, the eyes of the nation could fall on a November 27 MS runoff in what could become an expensive and high-profile race to determine control of the Senate.

The FBI is conducting a Senate-requested probe into the sexual misconduct allegations against Kavanaugh, whom Trump described as "a great judge" who "has been very brutally treated". On critical issues over the a year ago, I've watched her vote to raise taxes on Missourians and oppose conservative judges including Judge Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court.

Lifelong teetotaler Donald Trump is already loud, brash and provocative, so just imagine him after a few drinks, the USA president quipped Monday.

"I don't think you should lie to Congress", Trump said on Tuesday. I don't remember. Where was the place?

Officials said Trump is seeking to boost Hyde-Smith as close as possible to the 50 percent threshold and lend momentum for a possible runoff.

"I'll tell you this, the people that have complained to me about it the most about what's happening are women".

"I don't think Republicans realize what they've unleashed", she added.

Senator McConnell said a vote would happen on Mr Kavanaugh's nomination by the end of the week.

Republicans control the Senate by a 51-49 margin.

McConnell repeated that he expected a vote this week in the full Senate on President Donald Trump's nominee, a conservative federal appeals court judge. "'I had one beer, '" he began.

Sens. Joe Manchin (D-WV), Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND), and Joe Donnelly (D-IN) are other red-state Democrats whose election bids might be impacted by the hearings and their votes on Kavanaugh.

Judge's interview started but "has not been completed", his attorney said in a statement quoted by Fox News.

In his extended, one-man reenactment, Trump played both the committee's prosecutor and Ford, and suggesting that Ford was unable to recall key details about her alleged assault, NBC reports. The fourth, Deborah Ramirez, accuses Kavanaugh of thrusting his exposed penis in her face at a college party.

The FBI will also question Leland Keyser and P.J. Smyth, two people who Ford said were at the gathering of teenagers where Kavanaugh allegedly assaulted her.

As you probably know, Kavanaugh is now accused by three women of sexual misconduct!
