Senator mocked by Trump over race produces DNA evidence

Elizabeth Warren's newly released DNA results show that the Democrat's Native American ancestry is roughly the same as that of the average white American, and may be less.

But now he denies ever making that offer.

The analysis of Ms Warren's DNA was done by Carlos D. Bustamante, a Stanford University professor who the Boston Globe reported was an expert in the field. At the same time, the report could embolden critics by showing only trace amounts of that heritage - which Republicans have charged she used to advance her career at Harvard. However, he added that "the results strongly support the existence of an unadmixed Native American ancestor".

Ms Warren's release of the DNA results could be a prelude to a possible presidential run. "What do the facts say?" In any case, Elizabeth Warren's most elaborate deception is not her attempt to portray herself as a Native American. In other words, the test shows she is likely between 1/32nd and 1/1024th American Indian.

"Send them your $1M check, @realdonaldtrump", she said. Warren should do the same now that it is abundantly clear she is running for President.

With that in mind, we thought we'd make a few suggestions for Trump's donation.

During Mr Obama's campaign, Mr Trump called repeatedly for him to release his birth certificate to prove he was born in America.

The president also said the senator "owes the country an apology" for claiming indigenous heritage.

It seems to me that Warren's target audience for this production is the Democratic Party's media adjunct. "I have a feeling she will say no".

Last month, Warren said at a town hall meeting that she would "take a hard look" at a 2020 presidential run after the midterms. Warren has denied using her Native American heritage to gain any advantage. "You know there was a lot of nooky going on back in those Old West days, folks, and she's been out there trying to make this case that she was part minority, helped her get the gig at Harvard and so forth", he said.

Trump seized on Warren's heritage claims during 2016 presidential labelled, when he labelled her "Pocahontas", a racial slur.

Trump's response to reporters outside the White House: "Who cares?". "That will not be something I will enjoy doing either", he said.

"Gosnell" director Nick Searcy has had plenty of fun with the correction the Globe had to issue to the original report and the fact that Warren is only 1/1024 Native American.

The senator then began goading Trump on Twitter.

Warren has long told the story of her parents eloping in spite of her father's family disapproving of her mother's Cherokee Indian heritage.

She faces Republican Geoff Diehl, who co-chaired Trump's MA presidential campaign, in November. Maybe they do it because they think politics is a blood sport.

"Tribal membership is NOT race based", Hopkins wrote in another Tweet, "It's a distinct political classification distinguished by the fact that tribes are sovereign nations that predate the United States & made treaties with the US".
