Barefoot on the beach! Harry and Meghan hit Bondi

The Duchess of Sussex has been getting up at 4.30 am on her royal tour of Australia to do yoga, she has disclosed, telling fellow aficionados it is "so good for healing your mind".

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at Dubbo's Victoria Park to thunderous rounds of applause as the heavens opened over the drought-stricken city.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had both arrived at the beach wearing footwear but Harry went barefoot first, before Meghan made a decision to follow, handing her espadrilles to her husband.

The day was one that seven-year-old Sienna Blackhall will never forget, she says despite the pouring rain she felt exactly like a princess after meeting the royal couple.

"She's lovely, she's flawless", Nomikos said afterwards.

The tram ride took the royals from Albert Park Primary School, where the couple had visited the school's garden and learnt about their sustainability program, to South Melbourne beach.

As soon as she hit the sand, Meghan took off the shoes.

Note: Harry's still wearing his wedding band on his left hand, so it's not marriage-related, unless it's meant to signify Meghan's dark side?

Kensington Palace confirmed the happy news on social media, writing, "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019", the statement read.

The schoolboy, who has Down Syndrome has captured the hearts of thousands on social media, after giving Meghan a huge hug and rubbing Prince Harry's beard.
