Nick Mullens had never set foot on the field during an National Football League regular season game before Thursday.

San Francisco 49ers' Pierre Garcon celebrates with Nick Mullens after a 24-yard touchdown against the Oakland Raiders, at Levi's Stadium, in Santa Clara, Calif., on November 1, 2018.

Mullens completed 16 of 22 passes for 262 yards, with three touchdowns and no interceptions, as the 49ers dominated the Raiders 34-3.

Mullens' performance was so notable that Twitter awarded him a verified account during the course of the game. "The brand of the Raiders is an exciting one and I think a lot of players, no doubt, do want to play for us in the future". The Raiders are 1-7 and Gruden has already said he can't wait to get his hands on the $68 million in salary-cap space to get some new players next year. The offensive line looked lost and the poor pass protection did not help Derek Carr either, who was sacked four times in the first half. Teams would be fined if players protested. Owens was voted into the Hall of Fame earlier this year but skipped the induction ceremony in Canton, Ohio, to hold his own celebration at his college in Chattanooga, Tennessee. "This is an opportunity to give something to the fans".
