'And you know what? "You have nationalists, you have globalists, I also love the world and I don't mind helping the world but we have to straighten out our country first".

"I think you should let me run the country and let you run CNN, " Trump said.

Trump showed why he rarely does these press conferences when his feet were held to the fire by reporters asking about racist rhetoric, Republicans losing the House, and the Russian Federation investigation (he called it a "hoax" despite our entire intelligence apparatus saying otherwise).

Trump then asked Acosta to put down the microphone before briefly stepping away from the podium.

Jim Acosta is a joke and CNN should be ashamed of themselves. You are a rude, bad person.'14. "You shouldn't be working for CNN", Trump told Acosta.

"That's enough. Excuse me that's enough". You're a very rude person. You are rude, bad person.

"It was quite a chaotic and extraordinary news conference and when you cut away all the other stuff, there was a clear message coming from the president".

After this exchange, many in the media rushed to Acosta's defense.

"I don't know", he said.

When NBC's Peter Alexander defended Acosta, Trump replied: "I'm not a big fan of yours". "You aren't the best".

CNN's Jim Acosta stood defiantly on the front row, badgering the president over and over about the caravan and the Russian Federation election, refusing to release the microphone, standing right in front of the president in a shocking confrontation. Acosta refused to sit down, then switched gears, asking the president if he is "concerned" about Special Counsel Robert Mueller's ongoing and still fruitless "Russiagate" investigation.

"It is such a hostile media", he said.

He even said House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi deserved the honor of being House speaker and he might send a few Republican votes her way. "Some called that as emboldening white nationalists".

Trump fired back, using his Twitter feed to call her a "crazed, crying lowlife" and 'that dog'.
