Now gearing up for album number five, Ariana released lead single "Thank U, Next" over the weekend, in which she sings about a number of her past loves, including rapper Big Sean, her ex-fiancé Pete Davidson and the late rapper Mac Miller.

A source said: "She wasn't amused by Pete's jokes at all".

The possible tease comes after the singer has revealed she is already planning her next album "thank u, next" - the follow-up to "Sweetener", which was released earlier this year - and it could surface before 2019.

Ariana responded in a series of now-deleted tweets, saying that Pete was exploiting the breakup to stay relevant.

Grande's relationship turmoil has been on display since her very public engagement with comedian Pete Davidson was terminated on October 14.

But ultimately, Ariana talks about moving on from her exes, singing: "I met someone else". I know they say I move on too fast.

After going through a very public break-up, the 25-year-old singer is sharing her wisdom on picking the flawless engagement rings.

With Ari documenting what she has taken from her ex-boyfriends on the track - and coming to the conclusion that she's better off in a relationship with herself, yaaas gurl - Nathan was asked whether he'd learned anything from their whirlwind romance.

"One taught me love, one taught me patience and one taught me pain". "I hear it's fantastic, so that's incredible". "Ain't no need for searching".
