Michelle Obama rocks Spanish-inspired frock and lace heels in glamorous pics

Michelle Obama told ABC News that when she entered the White House she was offered help from her predecessor Laura Bush, a courtesy she also extended to the incoming first lady.

Married for nearly 26 years, the Obamas represent the flawless couple.

In advance of her new memoir Becoming, Michelle Obama is getting real about the challenges she and Barack Obama have faced in their 26-year marriage.

In an interview with Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts, which aired on Monday morning, hours before her book is due to launch, Michelle was pressed about her opinion on the current political situation.

Ms. Obama refused to opine specifically about her fellow former First Lady (who she has been quite supportive of in the past) and instead said: "at this point, I think everybody's qualified and everybody should run".

I for one am glad that Michelle Obama is opening up on issues that most women struggle with in silence, even if they are not famous.


"I don't think we do each other a service by pretending like hurtful things don't hurt."


'Realizing it, I made my own optic adjustment: I stopped even trying to smile'.

"What we have not seen, at least in my memory, is where right now you've got politicians blatantly, repeatedly, baldly, shamelessly lying".

The Washington Post previously noted that Obama wrote she would "never forgive" Trump for promoting the false "birther" conspiracy about President Barack Obama. "I love my husband a lot".

Mrs Obama told of how her "body buzzed with fury" on hearing Donald Trump's infamous "grab "em by the pussy" tape".

Obama said that while she was a student at the high school she was doubted by her guidance counselor but applied to Princeton University and was accepted nonetheless.

"We sit in our own pain, thinking that somehow we're broken".

Michelle, 54, who has two daughters, Malia and Sasha, revealed that she conceived her babies through IVF.

She spent her time entertaining, engaging in charitable endeavours, and attempting to provide some sort of normality to children being raised in a profoundly abnormal environment.

Michelle Obama spoke about her miscarriage 20 years ago. There are people in the house always, there are men standing guard, ' she wrote in her book.

'I've said what I will continue to say: being Commander in Chief is a hard job, ' the mother-of-two said. "I wasn't gonna allow myself to feel victimized from it because there was no time to hurt in that role". Oprah will kickoff sales with a special event at Chicago's United Center. "It was a question that dogged me through my first month", she writes.
