Echo devices will have access to audio calls, while Alexa devices with screens - like the Echo Show or Spot - will allow users to place video calls. From today Alexa enabled devices will be able to make calls just by saying "Alexa call Dad on Skype" if you want to call your Dad or anyone else for that matter from your contacts. Make sure the person you're calling has the latest version of Skype. The good news is that Skype for Amazon Echo will be available in a handful of countries such as the US, India, Canada, and New Zealand, to name a few. Once you sign in with your Microsoft account, you'll be ready to go.

Once installed you can ask Alexa what's in the news, and Alexa will read you an excerpt from the most recent stories, which are regularly updated throughout the day on the RailAdvent website.

We have rounded up some of the best Black Friday electronics deals below, and we'll add to the list as more retailers roll out new promotions on the epic Thanksgiving-Black Friday weekend. This offer will be valid for two months giving customers 200 minutes worth of calling credit to make SkypeOut calls.

Furthermore, in addition to audio and video calling, Skype is also providing the ability for the Alexa users to call most of the landlines and mobiles numbers using Skype to phone, even for global calls.
