The flame-haired Fergie revealed on ITV's Good Morning Britain that the emerald green dress she wore to the wedding of her daughter Princess Eugenie was a nod to her Irish heritage.

Speaking to Jeremy Vine on his Channel 5 show, she was asked whether she would simply move on if Meghan's decides to continue with her snub, Samantha said: "I would accept that".

Her late mother, Susan Barrantes, was the granddaughter of the eighth Viscount Powerscourt and spent many childhood summers riding at the vast Wicklow estate.

One Twitter user wrote: "They are a wonderful inspiration and one day will make a great King and Queen". Everybody's going to say something. And it was it was only three years ago, amusing enough, from the support around, and my brother and other people saying, 'You really need to deal with this. Get on and do what you feel, stand firm with integrity and kindness, be lovely to everybody. Remember the name of the people in the kitchen who cook the dinner.

Meghan, who incorporated American touches throughout her royal wedding service in May, will likely find a way to celebrate one of her most-loved holidays this year with Harry - she can't let her proven turkey skills go to waste, after all. "It was very kind of them, and I can't thank them enough for doing that because it was nerve-wracking", she explained about getting the invite and attending.

Sarah Lea, 33, from Cheshunt in Hertfordshire, said that William was among the emergency team who attended when her son, Robbie, got into difficulty while swimming with friends at North Met Pit Lake on a sunny day in May a year ago.

"Across these two engagements, Their Royal Highnesses wish to deliver a message of support to deployed personnel and to acknowledge the fact that many serving personnel are away from their families at this time of the year".
