The since-deleted article, titled "Is Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas's Love For Real?", tracks Chopra's career and relationship, with suggestions that she married Jonas for money and fame, rather than love.

Chopra and Jonas's sister-in-law-to-be, Sophie Turner, took to social media to express her outrage, writing, "This is wildly inappropriate and totally disgusting. Touched by your kind words and blessings", Priyanka wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.

Priyanka Chopra was not messing around when she told Vogue that people would need a vacation after their wedding. The writer critically examined Nick and Priyanka's past romances, where she noted that Nick, 25, always had an "interest in older women".

By now you must have heard about Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas's wedding, and it's many, many ceremonies. "We've removed it and apologise", read a tweet on the official Twitter handle of The Cut.

Meantime, Nick Jonas was cast as a hapless groom "blinded by love" and unable to see through his bride's supposed machinations.

The piece in question, published on Tuesday afternoon, has since been removed from the site, the webpage now reading, "Upon further editorial review, we found this story did not meet our standards". I think that for me was the most overwhelming moment.

- Khushbu Shah (@KhushAndOJ)For a publication that "shows women's what they are made of" @TheCut has a lot to answer for.

"At times, marriage can be a beautifully wonderful union that warms even the coldest of hearts, but sadly, this union evokes no such feeling", Smith wrote. "Forget petty. This piece is problematic and embarrassing", commented another.
