Let's not forget about the touching moment when Harry received a surprise visit from his wife, Sandra, on I'm a Celebrity.

He said when he arrived on the show he was anxious he would have nothing in common with his fellow campers, but that they had helped him make it through.

"I think they're well motivated this lot".

The 71-year-old former football manager spoke to Piers Morgan and Kate Garraway, on ITV's Good Morning Britain when he said he thought Emily wouldn't cut it for Jamie when he first saw her in the jungle, but now he's more than keen to have the two meet.

"We do everything together", he said. "He'll be begging to go back to the jungle!"

Emily Atack said: "Everything I have in my life I appreciate so much and will never take any of that for granted again".

Just before he was named the victor, he said: "It's been an unbelievable experience".

"I can't believe how many people voted for me", he said. I've learned to accept who I am.

Barrowman, who appeared emotional as he left the camp, said it was "a bit of relief and a bit of excitement".

She admitted about the colosseum-themed task where Noel Edmonds made his entrance: "This bit didn't make it to air, but I had one green ant bite me and I burst into tears, and ran out because I was so embarrassed I was crying".

The 42-year-old, who also works backstage on Strictly Come Dancing, replied to a series of tweets consoling her including one from a friend which read "How unjust, any decent bloke would of said he wouldn't want your career to be compromised".

The trio did all they could to win viewers over, facing a Bushtucker Trial each on their final day in the jungle.

Former victor Scarlett Moffatt also paid tribute to the new title-holder, writing: "Handing the crown over to this man what an honour!"

In the absence of his normal partner Ant McPartlin, Declan Donnelly hosted the show with Holly Willoughby.

She also shared a photograph of herself seated in the jungle camp with her children, Harry, nine, Belle, seven, and Chester, four, and captioned it: "Thank you for having us..."
