Despite the Microsoft Surface Pro's repeatedly scoring as some of the most highly rated displays in their hardware category during reviews, real-world usage has often been a different experience with end users suffering light bleed issues over time and recurring glitches due to software bugs. The Surface Go is the company's smallest Surface device and it can be pre-ordered via Flipkart starting December 15 from 12:01 pm.

The device features Microsoft's signature kickstand with an unlimited position setting and the proprietary Surface Connector port for charging and attaching it to a desktop dock.

For those who don't know, the Surface Go sports a 10-inch PixelSense display with a resolution of 1800x1200 pixels and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.

Microsoft positions the Surface Go as an everyday computer for use at home, school, or on the go.

The latest Surface Go is powered by Intel's new Pentium Gold processor 4415Y with up to 8GB of RAM. It runs Windows 10 in S Mode out-of-the-box, but you can upgrade to the Professional one, but there's no going back once you make the switch.

The 2-in-1 device can be used in the laptop mode as well as the tablet mode.

Commercial customers can opt for Windows 10 Pro which brings business security features to protect devices and infrastructure from modern threats. Surface Go has 128GB SSD.

Microsoft Surface Go is available for pre-order in India.

Furthermore, the Surface Go Type Cover keyboard is priced at INR 8,699 which is available at flat INR 4,000 discount.

Surface Go brings to consumers: a productive 2-in-1 device that supports inking with the Surface Pen with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity; a 3:2 high-resolution PixelSense custom calibrated display which is created to render the pages of most school textbooks; a built-in with full friction hinge that extends to 165 degrees helps you stay in your flow from tablet to studio mode, and support for type and mouse input with our Signature Type Cover.
