Paul Merson has warned Chelsea FC starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi to resist a tempting move to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

Sky Sports are reporting that the German Giants have tabled a fourth bid of £35 million for the England U19 global, which includes no buy back option - something fellow Bundesliga side RB Leipzig had been prepared to include in any deal.

"Odoi in the last week has been very normal".

"If I was his agent, I'd be sitting down with him and saying be patient, stay at Chelsea".

He has insisted he will not sign a new contract and wants to play in the Bundesliga.

Chelsea are prepared to consent to a basic agreement, but only if Hudson-Odoi goes in the summer.

Fabregas was emotional in appearing to bid farewell after Chelsea's win over Forest at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Writing in the Daily Mail, Martin Samuel has pointed out that Hudson-Odoi shouldn't wait patiently for his opportunity at Chelsea, because not one of the club's other academy prospects has ever won a regular starting place in the Roman Abramovich era.

Sarri said he wanted to keep the 18-year-old and added that he was ready to trust him in bigger matches. He is improving and I am very happy with him.

"He played like a player of 25, 26 years, I think". "He is an English player, he is very young and I think he has a very good future here; with the England team and with Chelsea".

Earlier on Monday, Monaco boss Thierry Henry said he regularly speaks to his former Arsenal team-mate but did not confirm whether his club was signing Fabregas.

Sarri said he did not know whether Fabregas had used a rest day on Sunday to fly to Monaco and finalise personal terms, but the Spaniard is a doubt for Tuesday's Carabao Cup semifinal first leg against Tottenham with cramp.

"He is a player who interests all clubs".

"Without Cesc we only have five so we need a replacement".
